Private Meeting with Graca Machel, Wife of Nelson Mandela

It gave me a sense of pride — and a testimonial for what I have been doing to serve humanity during the past ten years of my life when I met Graca Machel, wife of Nelson Mandela and the former first lady of Mozambique in Maputo, capital city of Mozambique (April 2010).  We exchanged our mission and goals in life. Truly an inspiration to be able to speak with her.

Natascha presented a copy of her book, Spirit of Service to Graca Machel, wife of Nelson Mandela and the former First Lady of Mozambique. Madam Machel is involved in several projects to eradicate illiteracy among girls in in rural areas of Mozambique.

Natascha also presented a copy of her book to Honorable Lolanda Cintura, Minister for Women’s Affairs and Social Welfare for Mozambique. The Minister invited Natascha to come back and inspire and motivate the youths in Africa to excel in education.

Many schools and organizations in the Rochester area supported us in our effort to help the families and children affected by the Asian tsunami in 2004. Today, they continue to support our efforts to open libraries in remote areas, provide educational support to orphans and help our Foundation provide material, moral and educational support to poor children in remote corners of the world.
