Many schools and organizations in the Rochester area supported us in our effort to help the families and children affected by the recent tsunami. Today, they continue to support our efforts to open libraries in remote areas, provide educational support to orphans and help our Foundation provide material, moral and educational support to poor children in remote corners of the world.

U.S. Congresswoman Louise Slaughter of Fairport, New York, met with Natascha Yogachandra to discuss her activities of the Foundation. Natascha visited Washington D.C. at the invitation of Congresswoman Slaughter.

Fairport High School (Fairport, New York) Principal, Mr. David Paddock and a student council member is seen with Natascha Yogachandra. The students helped Natascha’s tsunami relief efforts.

Mr. John Velekkakan, Chairman and CEO of Monroe Oxygen, Rochester, New York, is seen with Natascha. Monroe Oxygen company has supported her mission.

Martha Brown Middle School (Fairport, New York) Principal, David Dunn (extreme left) is seen with Natascha, along with her 6th grade teachers, Mrs. Cowell and Mr. Steve Rivers. The students raised funds to support Natascha’s relief efforts.

Ms. Marty Cardona, Principal of Brooks Hill School, New York and the students raised funds to support Hope is Life Foundation.

Members of the Rotary Club of Fairport, New York came to the rescue. They collected US$7,000 towards supporting various projects initiated by fellow members of the Rotary Club of Batticaloa, Sri Lanka to assist the tsunami victims.
