Across the globe there are over 1.2 million children every year who are trafficked, with over 1 million of those being led directly into prostitution. These children are usually smuggled under false pretences and find themselves trapped in a life of fear, violence and sexual servitude.

Hope is Life Foundation is supporting an effort by Ms. Tori Anderson and an Australian TV production crew to produce a documentary entitled “Corridors of Children” that explores the issue of children all across Southeast Asia, who are trapped and exploited in the lucrative, yet highly dangerous, sex trade industry.

Due to extreme poverty, poor law traffickers continue to prey on innocent children. This documentary will explore the issue of child trafficking for sexual exploitation across Southeast Asia, and what role foreign governments play in preventing/prosecuting child sex tourists.

During the coming months, we will continue to give talks in the States and in Asia on sex trafficking in Asia and other parts of the world to create awarness of this misery. The documentary will be aired in Australia, Thailand and in the States.

The personal story of a young teenager who started her journey at the age of seven to serve mankind, one child at a time.

I believe in educating girls is more important than educating boys. The first teachers of children are mothers, and we need to educate them first.

I am sixteen years old and currently studying the IB Diploma Program as a senior at Ruamrudee International School in Bangkok. Since I was eleven, I have been traveling around South East Asia to aid in the promotion of educating children, especially girls, in impoverished areas. These young girls will grow to be mothers, who are the first educators of their children. Therefore, I am simply starting a cycle that will continually encourage the education of younger generations.

One of my main goals is to inspire youth to get out there and do small things to help those in need. If each of us do our part, it all adds up. It takes a little bit of effort on their part.” Youth participation in all aspects of human development has become critical in this day and age. As today’s young people shape the world of tomorrow, it is the wish of the Foundation that they be given proper tools, ideas and guidance to get access to all discussions relating to education, human values and involvement in servicing humanity.
